Shipping and Returns

Shipping

Your order will be dispatched within 2-3 working days after payment cleared. The standard delivery time to all AU destinations is 5 working days after payment cleared. All deliveries are made 8.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday by via Australia Post delivery services. Order will be sent via the customers chosen delivery option. Tine frames may vary depending on destination and postage options chosen or during peak periods.

Handling Charges

All orders are subject to a $2 handling fee which is included in the order shipping total.

Estimated Shipping Costs

To estimate the cost of your delivery, put the item into your shopping basket. Click the estimate shipping button. A pop up window will appear where you can fill in the delivery postcode. This will display an estimate direct from Australia Post on the cost of your delivery. This is an estimation only and we are not held responsible for changes in shipping costs and charges.

Regular Shipping (AU Only)

All internal Australian orders are shipped via Australia Post Regular Parcel Post unless otherwise specified/requested during your order process.

Express (Next Day) Shipping (AU Only)

Orders shipped via Australia Post Express are guaranteed to arrive at the ship-to address prior to 6pm the day from the shipping date if within the Australia Post express post network. The network operates interstate between Australia’s capital cities (except Darwin) and some major centres. The Express Post network covers 80% of Australian business addresses, private addresses and post offices boxes. Delivery outside this network will receive the fastest possible delivery using existing transport links. When selecting express post no responsibility is taken for shipments that are not delivered the next day due to receiver being outside the express post network. Signature on Delivery

All deliveries are required to be signed for, and anyone at the delivery address who receives and signs for the product is presumed by Inkghost to be authorised to receive the products. 
Parcels will only be left without signature if the customer has left the instruction of ‘Authority to leave’. Inkghost takes no responsibility for products that are stolen or missing when ‘Authority to leave’ is instructed. 

International Shipping

For orders shipped to locations outside Australia Inkghost utilise Australia Post’s Airmail services. Postal rates vary depending on country and an estimate is provided during checkout. These estimates are provided by Australia Post and estimate arrival to the particular country. Internal shipping times can vary greatly depending on particular countries internal customs and mail services. 
Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped.  Customs, Duties, Brokerage Fees, Taxes and other fees associated with importing products for international orders will be the sole responsibility of the customer. Please note we do not have any control over the fees charged to you. Any customs or duty charges are the responsibility of the recipient.

7 day return policy

If you have received wrong or defective item(s), please ensure that items are returned to us within 7 days in original packaging in brand new and resalable condition. 

You will be required to contact us for a return authorization form before sending anything back to us.
This does not cover "Change of mind Return”.

Damaged or Incorrectly Shipped Products

If in the unlikely event your product is damaged in transit or incorrectly shipped please ensure to contact us. To ensure a speedy and accurate return, we request that your product/s be returned to us within 14 days of purchase.
Please ensure the following information can be found within your along with the original purchase receipt or a return authorisation number which can be received by contacting customer service.

  • The full name and contact details on the original invoice
  • Invoice number, order number or Return authorisation number
  • If the product to be returned, exchanged or repaired
  • A detailed reason for return

The returned product will be tested and you will be contacted to organise a return or refunded within 7 working days of receipt into our warehouse.
If we determine that the product is defective, we will issue a credit for the original purchase price, provide you with a full refund or replace the product at our discretion.
If you receive a product that is damaged in transit from us to you, you should:

  • refuse to accept delivery of the product,
  • direct the courier to "Return goods to sender" and
  • notify our Customer Service staff immediately.

If you have already accepted delivery, and then notice that the product appears to have been damaged in transit, you should notify our Customer Service staff immediately.
If your product is in full working condition or any defects or damage were caused after you took receipt of the product, it will be returned to you and you will be invoiced a processing fee and any freight costs associated with the return. These invoiced amounts will be payable within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
If we decide that the product is defective, we will issue a credit for the original purchase price of the product.
If you receive a product that is incorrectly shipped (different to the one you ordered), we will arrange for the product to be collected from you.
If we find that the product was shipped correctly (for example, where you have ordered the wrong product by mistake), it will be returned to you and you will be invoiced a processing fee and any freight costs associated with the return. These invoiced amounts will be payable within 30 days of receipt of invoice.
If the product was incorrectly shipped please return the product and contact us directly with proof of postage. We will ensure the correct item is dispatched immediately to ensure you receive it in a timely manner along with compensation of the return postage.

Faulty Products

If you have a product you feel is faulty or not as described, please contact us directly receive a Return Authorisation Number. Please ensure to secure your products correctly as per our instruction when you receive your return authorisation number. We will not accept responsibility for products which have been poorly packed and damaged whilst in transit back to us. Please place a short name with your return address and contact number to the address as follows:

Please ensure to include with your product a copy of the original invoice, or other proof of purchase. If proof of purchase can not be provided we may not be able to provide you with a refund for your purchase. We will however ensure to provide you with an exchange or credit to the full value of the product purchased. Inkghost are not responsible for the return postage cost if the item is neither faulty or incorrectly supplied. Inkghost will return the item at their cost upon repair or replacement of the item. If the item is to be exchanged due to error on the buyer’s behalf, postage charges will apply. If we are unable to detect a fault with the product in question, the fault is due to wear and tear or due to incorrect installation of the product, we will offer you a repair or replacement part. If the product in question has been damaged due to user error or wear and tear then Inkghost will provide you with a quote on repairs and contact you prior to commencement of the works. Once repairs are carried out, we will return the product to you via Australia post. For items which do not fit the above criteria or are not covered by our general warranty payment for works carried out along with postage will be charged prior to dispatch.

Processing Credits / Refunds

Inkghost will do its best to issue a credit note, exchange or refund within 7 days of receiving the returned product. If a credit note has been issued, this will be valid for use for 1 year from the date upon the credit note. If an exchange has been provided the item will be send out immediately upon approving the return. Cash refunds will not be offered. Refunds will be provided via cheque, Visa/Master Card or directly deposited into your nominated bank account.

Seller’s warranty

Purchases through our website are covered by our 90 Day Door to Door Return to Seller Warranty against any manufacture defects. If a manufacture defect is found within 90 Days after the date of purchase, simply contact us and we will provide instructions on how to get your item(s) collected and repaired. A Return Authorisation is strictly required before the item may be returned to us for repair. Items will be returned to Melbourne for repair and sent back to you once repair is complete. 

Notes: If accidental damage is found during repair, the entire repair cost plus two way postage will have to be paid by the customer before the product is returned.

Customs duty/tax/VAT

According to Australian Customs Legislations, "All goods (except for tobacco products and alcoholic beverages) may be imported duty and tax free if their value is $1,000 or less." Quoted from the Australian Customs website: (www.customs.gov.au ).In most cases, you will receive your parcel without any customs delays. In the case that your parcel is selected for random customs checks, we will try to help you by providing electronic receipts to facilitate quick release of your parcel.
